Los Gatos is tucked away in the hills just east of the Santa Cruz Mountains off of Highway 17. Though it is a smaller community, there is definitely not any lack of things to do in Los Gatos and it is considered one of the loveliest towns in the South Bay Area. With about 30,000 residents, this exclusive area is a respite from the bigger cities with friendly neighborhoods and tree-lined avenues.

Not to be outdone by the plentiful tech companies of its surrounding neighbor cities, Los Gatos is proud to be the headquarters of Netflix. Other tech companies are just a short commute away using the major highways bisecting Los Gatos.

Parks & Amenities

There are many parks and playgrounds to enjoy the outdoors, and the Los Gatos Creek Trail runs just outside the downtown area for five miles both north to the Vasona Park, or south to the Lexington Reservoir. The 150-acre Vasona Park boasts numerous outlets for entertainment including water activities: paddleboating, kayaking, paddleboarding, and canoe rentals during most of the year. Next to Vasona Park is Oak Meadow Park, where you can ride a carousel and a miniature train, or see a real Air Force jet!

The downtown area on North Santa Cruz Avenue is full of trendy boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and cafes. The quaint atmosphere and historic architecture makes spending a day window shopping and grabbing a bite to eat a delight. There are many events hosted downtown throughout the year, so by stopping by you might catch a festival!
