Sunnyvale, California

A city aptly named

Living in Sunnyvale, CA definitely has its perks. The beautiful weather! A fun downtown area centered around Murphy Street! Parks, parks, parks! Not to mention the cost of living in Sunnyvale is comparably better than some areas of the Bay Area.

Despite having a population of over 150,000, Sunnyvale doesn’t feel as crowded as it is. With 772 acres of parks and open space located in neighborhoods throughout the city, there is ample space for walking, running, playing sports, having a picnic, or just enjoying nature. The Downtown Murphy Street area has a vintage feel of lined-up storefronts and restaurants, and a train station across the street for ease of transportation. Every Saturday morning, the downtown streets are closed for the Sunnyvale Farmers Market that boasts local produce and products.
